Reason why adapters should never be used - This one was rated at 13Amps and the load was only around 2Amps but the adapter still overheated - Always replace the plug with the correct type - only cost a couple of €'s - If you have a UK moulded charger then put a french plug on a GOOD qualty UK extension socket(s)
